Social Media Manager

We are a marketing agency that specializes in web design & development, branding/identity services, search engine optimization (SEO), content management systems (CMS) integration, advertising campaigns, social media development, and more! 

Our mission is to help clients grow their business by using the latest in marketing strategies and tools so they can focus on what they do best— running their company!

We are looking for a social media manager to join our team. We want someone who is creative and organized. You will be responsible for managing multiple social media accounts, scheduling posts, engaging with followers, coordinating with our graphics team using titles and descriptions written by our copywriting team, and tracking analytics.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who is familiar with social media algorithms and requirements, is able to work with Facebook business manager & scheduler, and navigate platforms such as Slack, Trello, and Google Drive. You will also need to be able to research trends, hashtags, and keep up-to-date with popular culture.

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, motivated to learn new skills, and up-to-date on social media trends.

  • Producing organic social media plans to be executed across various social media platforms
  • Managing multiple social media accounts across multiple platforms
    • Facebook
    • Instagram
    • Twitter
    • LinkedIn
    • Etc
  • Creating / coordinating graphics using titles and descriptions written by our copywriting team
    • We provide access to Canva
    • Coordinate with our in-house graphic designers
    • Coordinate with our in-house editorial team
  • Scheduling posts to automatically post throughout the month using content calendars
  • Coordinating content generation using photoshoots and other available methods
  • Manually posting stories and reels
  • Carrying out community building and profile interaction, engagement, & growth activities.
    • Liking posts & comments
    • Responding to generic comments
    • Responding to generic DM’s
    • Following / unfollowing accounts to gain new followers
  • Stay current and up-to-date with popular culture and pop culture trends
  • Communication
    • Maintaining proactive communications regarding account status across multiple account stakeholders including sales and senior management
  • Researching current trends related to our company’s products or services
  • Fluent in speaking and typing English
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in Social Media Management or Marketing, with a proven track record.
  • Pro-active and passionate about marketing
  • Must have an obsession with attention to detail, able to complete tasks with precision and care, and a proven ability to solve problems.
  • Experienced in using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop / Illustrator)
  • Experienced with Canva
  • Experience using platforms such as Slack & Trello
  • Part-time position with the potential of full-time
  • Up to 20 hours per week.
